Execution steps

Prerequisites to start automated data validation testing are:

• Mapping data document. This sheet is a logical data map that describes the mapping between target and source database, along with information of transformation rules

 

This solution automates data validation as follows:

Test case creation:

• Upload requested entity Mapping data, Source system data and Destination system data in the required sheets in excel.

 

Execution:

• Upon uploading the required data in respective sheets click on Mapping to map all the fields given in the Mapping data

• After Mapping click on Compare to start execution

 

Reporting:

• Upon completion of the test cycle, informative summary and detailed reports will get generated.
